Firmer, better-hydrated skin without changing your features

Profhilo is an injectable made from a high concentration of hyaluronic acid. Unlike fillers, it is not designed to shape or add volume. Instead, it spreads under the skin after injection, hydrating it and supporting the skin's own repair processes. Over the following weeks, many people find their skin looks firmer, smoother and more supple. It is often chosen in the thirties and forties, when skin first starts to lose its bounce.

The treatment uses a small number of injection points on each side of the face, chosen to reach key areas with minimal needle work. It can also be used on the neck, and in some cases on the hands or other areas. A standard course is two sessions about a month apart, followed by maintenance. Because the gel spreads on its own, the session is quick and there are only a few small bumps to settle afterwards.

This is a medical procedure. Dr. Shilpa will assess your skin, medical history and expectations, and explain whether this treatment, skin boosters, fillers or another option is better for what you want to change. It works best on mild to moderate laxity. If there is marked sagging, she will talk you through other approaches, such as threads or energy-based skin tightening, and what each can realistically achieve.
